Our personality type creates the "Style"
in which we tend to operate in this world.
Yellow Personalities bring a lighthearted quality to the world. They are intimacy based, yet that intimacy is not as central as it is for Blue Personalities.
Most of the material mentioned on this web page about yellow personalities and the use of the descriptive word "Yellow", is primarily based on information gathered from Taylor Hartman's book on personality types called The Color Code.

In addition to this personality type, the individual will take on either an Adult or Child Role that adds another dimension to the character they play in this production we call Life. These attributes and traits make us more unique thereby giving us a broader view and experience of the human condition.
Mostly, this personality type just wants to have fun! They are often considered the life of the party and are typically pleasurable to be around. They love attention so they are very social. Popularity answers their very basic need for approval and praise.
Yellows personalities are easily bored and as a result they are highly verbal. They will always keep the conversation going, and they never sit still long. They are also notorious adventure seekers who are drawn to others who hold "having fun" as the most important thing in life.
During my first marriage to a very controlling Red Personality type, one of my best friends was a Yellow personality type. This relationship helped me in my desperate time of need to not take things so seriously and learn how to relax and have a little fun in life. He also showed me how important laughter can be to one's state of being.
Yellow Personalities can bring a lot of excitement and playfulness to the world, which makes them a nice addition. If they can harmonize the fun side while taking on some serious responsibility, it will help balance out their life.
To play hard and to have an exciting life requires money, so many yellow personalities are driven to be financially sound. This can push them to break out of their comfort zone in business by forcing them to be more responsible and to delegate that authority onto others.
Incorporating a light hearted attitude while going through the Awakening Process can be very beneficial in helping us to consciously accept the darker and less appealing aspects of our selves.

"We who lived in concentration camps can remember the men who walked through the huts comforting others, giving away their last piece of bread. They may have been few in number, but they offer sufficient proof that everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms -- to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way."
"When you begin to touch your heart or let your heart be touched, you begin to discover that it's bottomless, that it doesn't have any resolution, that this heart is huge, vast, and limitless. You begin to discover how much warmth and gentleness is there, as well as how much space."
