White Personalities

Our personality type creates the "Style"
in which we tend to operate in this world.

White Personalities are primarily motivated by peace. They will go to great lengths to avoid conflict and they tend to go with the flow. Their way is the easy way and it is always at thier own pace.

The material on this web page about white personalities and the use of the descriptive word "White", is primarily based on information gathered from Taylor Hartman's book on Personalities called The Color Code.

Follow this link www.colorcode.com to see Taylor Hartman's website.

In addition to this personality type, the individual will take on either an Adult or Child Role that adds another dimension to the character they play in this production we call "Life". These attributes and traits make us more unique thereby giving us a broader view and experience of the human condition.

Most people that are of this personalty type, are amiable and want others to be amiable too. A strong silent stubbornness will surface in them in the presence of scolding, hostility, or pressure.

Adult and Child White personalities will demonstrate thier stubborness but "Adult" types are far more willing to show their stubborness outwardly. Child White's tend to passively and secretly resist what they don't want to participate in. Child types like to appear as if they are always willing to go along with the plan even if they secretly are not.

Some of my closest friends when I was younger were this personality type. I believe this was due to the fact that they balanced out my needy and sometimes demanding behavior. They also offered me some peace from the Red influences in my life.

After being married to a Red Personality for over ten years, my wife Deniece married a White Personality type who's accepting, peaceful nature gave her the space she needed to re-group after that relationship.
Deniece is an "adult" Blue Personality type, and after a period of time, she found herself needing more intimacy as opposed to peaceful acceptance, which eventually led to our union.

The challenge for Whites is engaging more with others by sharing their thoughts and feelings. Whites tend to have the most longevity in relationships when they are paired up with other non intimacy based personalities.

One of the differences between the Adult Child Roles with this personality type, is the Adult tends to be more opinionated. They can also be a bit more abrasive and stubborn in their opinions. Individuals playing the child role are typically more relaxed and seem to look at life with an easier attitude.

White personalities don't volunteer information about themselves or their opinions. Typically, they need to be coaxed into talking.

White personalities don't require much from others and can be respectful when demands are made of them, and they will comply with seemingly unreasonable demands if it means keeping the peace.

To see more information on all four personality types go to our Personalities web page.

Without knowing them personally, these are some examples of White Personalities:

Kevin Costner, George Lucas, Eckhart Tolle, Anthony Hopkins, Sandra Bullock, Clint Eastwood, Penelope Cruz, Hugh Grant, Harrison Ford

"Peace, in the sense of the absence of war, is of little value to someone who is dying of hunger or cold. It will not remove the pain of torture inflicted on a prisoner of conscience. It does not comfort those who have lost their loved ones in floods caused by senseless deforestation in a neighboring country. Peace can only last where human rights are respected, where the people are fed, and where individuals and nations are free."
H.H. The Dalai Lama

WORKSHOPS

Our workshops provide the "tools" and support to help you create a happy, peaceful life!

In sharing our experiences, along with the challenges and pitfalls that accompanied them,
we hope to bridge the gap between the message of great spiritual masters throughout history by showing how their teachings play out in everyday life.

Facing one's fears, insecurities, and suppressed pain, is a monumental undertaking,
but with help and guidance,
you will discover that no challenge is to difficult to handle and no obstacle is to high to climb.
