Our personality type creates the "Style"
in which we tend to operate in this world.
Red Personalities are hungry for power, as paraphrased by Taylor Hartman in his book on personalities called The Color Code. A lot of the information on this web page about red personalities and the use of the descriptive term "Red", is based on and gathered from Taylor Hartman's work.

In addition to this personality type, the individual will take on either an Adult or Child Role that adds another dimension to the character they play in this production we call "Life". These attributes and traits make us more unique thereby giving us a broader view and experience of the human condition.
This personality type typically finds it very easy and natural to manipulate others. Sometimes they even defy authority because they find it difficult to relinquish their power.
That being said, it is very important to remember to keep this information factual instead of making it personal. This is important when interpreting any personality type because when we take the information personally we tend to place moral judgment on the information. This is especially true for red personalties because the world already tends to judge the words used to describe them as flawed or imoral. However, this simply isn't the case because every personality type plays it's perfect part in this production of life. Therefore, stay to the facts and you won't miss the great contributions this personality type has to offer. Even red personality types themselves typically have a hard time accepting who they are because of the world's judgment and their own. As a consequence, many will pretend they are a different personality type.
They are typically the movers and shakers of this world and they tend to take on a "get it done" attitude that in some cases will produce their own empires.
Red Personalities are born leaders, and as long as that doesn't turn into a dictatorship, they can be formidable and influential business people.
Oprah Winfrey is a classic example of how helpful and influential this type can be.
Red Personalities crave recognition for their intelligence and value respect for logic and practicality over love. Indulgence in emotion typically indicates weakness to Red Personalities.
They are often referred to as "Control Freaks" because if they can gain the upper hand, they will.
My first wife was a Red Personality, and my unhealthy "People Pleasing" characteristics combined with her manipulative traits, lead to a disastrous relationship! She became a dictator and I became a mindless follower that had no backbone to challenge her demands.
This personality type can sometimes love a great battle and when I divorced my wife, I had a huge one on my hands! However, I quickly learned that it takes two people to fight and I realized that I could walk away from it if I chose to.
To be healthy, Reds need a good dose of humility which can come by increasing their level of consciousness. Ultimately we don't control anything , and true Power only comes from within. Understanding this truth can help them awaken to a balanced reality.

"We frail humans are at one time capable of the greatest good and, at the same time, capable of the greatest evil. Change will only come about when each of us takes up the daily struggle ourselves to be more forgiving, compassionate, loving, and above all joyful in the knowledge that, by some miracle of grace, we can change as those around us can change too."
"Responsibility does not only lie with the leaders of our countries or with those who have been appointed or elected to do a particular job. It lies with each of us individually. Peace, for example, starts within each one of us. When we have inner peace, we can be at peace with those around us."
