Dream InterpretationsFrom my "Personal Perspective"
Dream Interpretations can been done many different ways. Dreams are symbolic and to take them literally would be missing what the dream is trying to point out. So I interpret dreams symbolically and use a couple other standardized rules of thumb. In addition to symbolism, I have recognized that I am typically represented in every character of the dream because life is a projection. Some characters might be difficult to accept as a representation of "you", but if you look close enough, you will usually find some connection or trait you possess. The least desirable and unsavory characters, tend to be profound in their guidance, so try not to shy away from their message. The second rule of thumb is that "the dream is relevant to what is happening right now, in my life". They typically don't depict future or past events. The exception to this rule is when I feel I'm being prepared for an immediate future event. Then I can be shown helpful information about how my future could be so that I incorporate the relative mind set into my life before the actual event unfolds. The different dreams categories I will discuss in the following pages are:
In my opinion, Dream Interpretations are a way for God and my spirit to guide me and point out the things that I need to be aware of, or pay attention to. This guidance has been very helpful while going through the awakening process, and in the developement of consciousness, because they help me make sense of new perceptions as they continue to emerge. Dreams are a divine gift and can provide spiritual guidance. The mind is a powerful tool that can either help us with our Dream Interpretations or it can convince us that dreams don't even exist. What you choose to believe will typically be the experience you will have. As for me, I have discovered that the more I pay atention to dreams, the more guidance I glean from this profound spiritual gateway. "In life, many thoughts are born in the course of a moment, an hour, a day. Some are dreams, some visions. Often, we are unable to distinguish between them. To some, they are the same; however, not all dreams are visions. Much energy is lost in fanciful dreams that never bear fruit. But visions are messages from the Great Spirit, each for a different purpose in life. Consequently, one person's vision may not be that of another. To have a vision, one must be prepared to receive it, and when it comes, to accept it. Thus when these inner urges become reality, only then can visions be fulfilled. The spiritual side of life knows everyone's heart and who to trust. How could a vision ever be given to someone to harbor if that person could not be trusted to carry it out. The message is simple: commitment precedes vision." |
"Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens."
"Imagine all the people living life in peace. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will live as one."
"Yet it is in our idleness, in our dreams, that the submerged truth sometimes comes to the top."
DREAM INTERPRETATIONSOur Dreams are the window to our soul. Paying them close, conscious attention, can be very enlightening! SYMBOLISMThe symbolism can be easily misinterpreted. When doing your Dream Interpretations, pray for guidance while you decifer them and listen to what your heart tells you.
